Tura, Feb 5: In a dedicated effort to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), RBI Shillong conducted a Town Hall event at Selsella, West Garo Hills, on February 5, 2025. The event focused on entrepreneurs engaged in Cashew Nut and Cane & Bamboo Clusters, bringing together 280 participants, including officials from RBI India, major banks, MSME-DFO, DCIC, SIDBI, MCAB, MRB, SBI Tura, BPM, BAKDIL, and Centre for Financial Literacy Dadenggre & Betasing.

Key Highlights:
🔹 Navneet Singh Nagar (DGM, RBI Shillong) emphasized that the Town Hall serves as a crucial platform for dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing to tackle MSME challenges and drive sustainable growth.

🔹Dr. Felicient R Marak (GM, DCIC West Garo Hills) introduced various State Government MSME schemes, including PM Vishwakarma, urging artisans to enroll and benefit.
🔹 Durgesh Pandey (AD, MSME DFO) led an informative session on government schemes for MSMEs.
🔹 Senior bank officials and Selsella R&D Block representatives addressed the gathering, encouraging both existing and aspiring entrepreneurs to seize available opportunities.
